One thing I've been told by my neighbor whos a big hot rod guy, is NEVER mix different oils of different brands......different ingrediants that they all use makes it hard to find 2 that won't mix badly with eachother.....unless you're into experementing with things that might mess up your motor, then ya can post up later!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I've always run FRAM filters, and like we've talked about before, as long as you check the anti-drainback valve then you're good to go. In the 3 cars I've owned, always changed the oil every 3K and the filter was always full of oil when I removed it. Seem to work for me....no oil-related engine problems yet......
