Does it CLICK at the solonoid? If yes then clean battery terminals.. Getting the engine to turn over is a simple thing.. You need a good battery good cables a solonoid and a starter that is grounded good.. Do not forget the battery to engine ground.. If all of the above are in good condition take the starter and solonoid back and get em replaced or checked..
My first check would be to turn on the headlights and try to start her looking to see if the lights go out... If so replace the battery..
