If your talking about the idle adjustment screw, then you lucked out because there's no spring under that adjustment screw.

The resistance of the O-ring seal is what holds/stops the screw from moving.

Just put a new O-ring on it, then re-adjust your idle and you should be back in business <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
