Usually just the add-a leaf kit, but some will suggest new U-bolts which isn't a bad idea.

you'll need longer center pins, but usually add-a-leaf kits come with these.

I ran darlington's spring upgrades for a while and recommend them. It is a mini 3 leaf set you add to the bottom of your pack, replacing the overload. darlington-offroad.com

Need a Spot
This is a probably a stupid newbie question, but how does an add-a-leaf work? Seems to me that adding leaves wouldnt help unless the springs are on top of the axle.

Adds more arch to the spring pack.

I'll second the DOR springs upgradez... been running them for years on the Amigo. They'll run you more money; but, IMHO, its money well spent

i was thinking of the independent4x springs for 50 bucks
this isnt my trail rig its my dd so it doesnt really need
all that much flex just more clearance then ill do a virtual lift or fender trim and put some 32's on it and call it a day. it already has 32x9.50s on it i just wanna go a little wider for a more agressive look

Jack,

If it helps anyà
IÆve always wanted a set of DOR Spring Packs, but IÆve been running an Add-a-Leaf set-up since day one û and throughout all of the 4-wheeling IÆve done, IÆve only ever broken one of them (OK, and maybe a couple of spring pins )

Yep û and I be one of those æsomeÆ

You should be able to get both the Add-a-Leafs & a new set of U-bolts for close to $100 û but if youÆve got some cash to spare, go ahead and spring for the DOR Packs.

(Yes û Pun intended )
