Hello again guys:

Here I go again. I can never leave things well enough alone. I'm making plans again to pull out my 2.6L, and install a 4.3L Vortec. Has anyone here had experience with the process, and/or can you point me in the right direction. I've spent a little time searching in the Isuzu archives, but can't seem to get a hit.

Here is what I have in equipment:
95 Chevy 4.3L Vortec
95 4L60E that came with the above motor
Dana 300 Xfer case.

I'd like to stick to the 4L60E because I'd still like a little economy when I decide to drive the vehicle long distances. On occasion I still us it as a daily driver. The Dana 300 seemed like a no-brainer because if it's durability and gearing.

I still have an IFS up front, but I'm unsure if the motor will clear the diff.

Any input guys?

Best regards,
Roberto Dean
