Yep I did the same swap. My 700R4 is the same tranny as a 4L60e but without the electronic controls. I dont know if the motor will fit around the stock front end, as I did a SAS at the same time. If you push the motor far enough back against the firewall You'll be able to run a stock fan and clutch up front with the radiator in the stock location. My distributor rubs the firewall, but I found out you can still fit everything with the motor another inch forward. You will have to take a BFH to the passenger side floor in a couple spots, but nothing too disgusting, also you'll wanna use stock S10/Blazer manifolds as they are the only ones I found that fit between the frame rails.
