Nothing seemed to want to go right for me today I was trying to replace a nut on one of my brake lines that was stripped , and my flaring toold won't work , it just kept pushing the line through , no matter how tight I tightened it.So , I bought another one , same thing , so I tried a piece of new line , same thing
Then I decide to work on my oil filter unit so I can fire up the truck , ends up I misplaced a piece that screws onto the adapter , then the filter screws onto it.So , after an hour of looking , I find it , it fell out of the box. Then after I mount it , I go to put the hoses on the other end , and I don't have a 22 wrench. So , I couldn't finish that either.
About the only thing I did get done was finish wiring the cell and the grounds at the back and plug those and the pump in , so thats all ready to go.Once I get the oil filters on , I can fire it up.
Oh , the gas guage won't work either.I took the guage cluster apart , an lo and behole , its a circuit board , not wired in there at all.so , if its possible , I will have to change the whole guage cluster , or I will have to find somewhere to mount the fuel guage itself , which I have no idea where I would do that.I still have things to mount in there , and considering the troopers have no dash , it makes it alot harder.I'll have to find out how much of an issue it would be to get a cluster thats all wires in side that you can actualy change the guages out , and rewire it for the fuel guage to work.
