Rodney Thanks for your reply on my thread, would of replied there but thought you might need a "bump", bump. Where did you get your pricing, $1K? ( EDITED: sorry, rechecked and saw 2.5K, man, if I'd seen this a few days ago I'd bought your truck instead of the whopptee Escort and dropped your engine into mine.) I had to re-check Kelly and again, sell-it-yourself on a 95 SR is $7700 web page Sorry if this jacks the price for someone here but this should be about doing the right thing as in my thread. That is with basics and why I was looking for 3K for mine, 2700/DIY for a new engine and like you said, they have a pretty decent truck. Our situation is a little different; your bolt broke by being ground-off, mine while trying to be removed, mine would just LAUGH at an extractor as the engine turned over. Like I said, I'm a pretty good Medic but a very POOR mechanic. How did your threading (within the crank) look, after you removed the bolt? I ask because if all you need is a timing gear, pulley, bolt and washer, you are only talking about $250 (I know you know this but to sell so cheap). And (the Grammar police can kiss my fat a$$) triple your vehicles price. Just a thought... Not to get too personal (and off-line), but in 25 years as a Paramedic I've never seen, HTF did you dislocate your elbow? (I'll drink this next beer in honor of you, with a cringe, that had to hurt)

Hoffman, thanks for the post, where did I get the price, I don't know, pulled at KBB report, low is $5045, cut that in half for engine work needed, plus clear coat is coming off etc. It has been sitting since last July and we want to reclaim the drive way space. And actually, I read your posting about getting 3grand for yours and figured $2500 would move it fast. The threads look good and I know the new owner will be able to fix it and have a good truck.
My elbow was dislocated when I fell off a chair while changing a lightbulb. I may or may not have hit my desk on the way down, I landed on a Pergo laminate floor and couldn't move my arm. I can understand how you have never seen this, both the fire dept and EMT's assumed it was broken, only the x-rays revealed the truth.
