standard with 215/75/R15 tires, which is what I have on my T100 right now. Although when I put heavy loads in my bed the rear tires buldge (they are rated for 1742 lbs each tire, but even when I only have 500lbs or so in the bed the tires start bulging and I can feel the rear end getting sloppy on corners)

Looking on tirerack, there was an optional 235/75/R15 tire size. Did T100's with the 235 sized tires use the same wheel as the 215 sized tires, or did they come with a wider factory wheel?

I'm asking because 235/75/R15's have a larger weight limit per tire. So with those I can put larger payloads in the bed before the handling gets sloppy.

Body Damage is Cool
31x10.5x15 LT should do the trick.

I just bought 4 BFG AT 265/75R-16's E load range(8ply).I carry a popup camper that weighs 700lbs empty and although that is not much I still like the security of an E rated tire.Install a set of Airlift airbags and you will be good to go.An oil cooler if you have an auto trans would be a good idea too.

no clue what my rim size is. its whatever the OEM steel wheels are. my T100 is 2wd. not sure what 31x10.50 means. my T100 is a 4cyl 5sp.

I just wanna know if on the OEM steel wheels that come with 215/75/R15 tires, if 235/75/R15 will fit on them, so that I can haul heavier payloads without the tires bulging.

Yes the 235's will fit the OE wheels.

With that said, what tire pressure are you running and what is the max pressure of your tires? The tire load rating is usually at max pressure, so if you haven't tried increasing the tire pressure to accomodate additional load, you may want to give that a try 1st.

235's will fit on the OEM steel wheels taht came with 215/75/R15's? awesome, I'll be buying 235/75/R15's next time around smile

the person asking about my tire pressure. normally I run 35psi in them but the max on the sidewall is 44psi. i run 35psi because at 44psi I'm worried that i'll wear out the center of the tire because of overinflation.

Don't be worried... at the proper load rating, the tires will have the right flex and contact with the road. I Always up my tire pressure when hauling anything substantial (better that than overheat the sides with excessive flex ~ the bulging you see ~ and cause weakness there that has been linked to blowouts).

I haven't checked lately, but my tires rarely have even 1/32rd of difference between inside, center and outside for tread depths (running at a range of pressures depending on the task at hand).
