Getting the Wheeling Fever

If you swap over to lt1 your still going to need harness,ecm and other misc things from corvette or other model. Including tranny and so forth...Would the 4.3 be of more interest if you had a complete running 4x4 unit?
It would be a lot of work but so would the lt1 swap
