Ok , not to hijack the thread here , but what about removing the bar on a 1st gen trooper? I am installing heavy duty torsion bars , so is it worth it to take the bar off while I am under there doing the other stuff like torsion bars , heavy tie rods , diff drop , etc?

That's the experience that I was relating in my reply to the question (Page 1). With my front swaybar removed from my 1st gen Trooper everything has been fine with me. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

ok , sounds good to me.I think I might remove it while I'm under there.I know there isn't a wholelot of room with the skid plates on and stuff.
