I run one on my 22RTE turbo truck, and I find it makes for a smoother idle and reliable performance -- I'm running 16 psi of boost and I never misfire, so I am very happy with their stuff. I've run MSD components for ~25 years, basically since high school, and I've found they work as advertised. Now, that being said, I don't think you'll see a lot of difference in the way your 3.0 behaves. If you were running higher compression pistons or a turbo, and had to fight higher pressures in the cylinder, then it can make a HUGE difference, but on a stock motor the cost probably doesn't justify making this change.

My .02 cents,

Jeff
