What do you think is the most agressive looking radial, All-Terrain tire? It has to come in 265/75R16, but 31" could work. The new Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ look agressive, but they only come in larger sizes. I'll get 40K out of my Deuler Revos, but they are coming to an end of their life. I don't think I want to put MT's on my Rodeo Sport because it's a daily driver and I really like the present ride with my Revos. I am still getting a used set of MT tires to swtch out for the longer, more serious wheeling trips, like Uwharrie in April.
Thanks,
Pete

I have always thought that the BFG AT looked the most aggressive, and i will always stand by them, cause theyve treated me well. However, there are some more aggressive tires out there these days. There are some that are a mix between an MT and an AT.

I know youve liked your Revo's, so why not just get another set? If you have the more serious tires for offroad, why not just run the less serious revos on the street?

here here on the All Terrains. While you may find more meaty looking tires, in my books for a daily driver that wheels on the weekends, the BF AT is tops. And you can spot them a mile away (which is a good thing!)

Not an AT... but I'd take a serious look at a set of MT/R's. They are the best all-around tire I have ever put on the Amigo and its my combination DD/wheeler. Short of those, I like the REVOs you are currently running. I recommended them to my dad for his F-150 a couple of years ago. He has had nothing but great things to say about them (especially in wet conditions and slushy snow). A couple of our club members have them as well and they seem to do about as good as you could hope an AT to do around here.

Pete: A couple of my hunting buddies still run ATs. The BFG All Terrain K/O works well. The Revo is good. I liked my Dakota ATs as good as either. I'd really recommend the BFG MT, GY MTR, or the Destination. They may not last as long, but all of these MT tires are VERY street friendly (smooth, quiet, soft riding) and are light years above the ATs on the trail. my 2cents, Mark

Ran 33x12.5 mt/r's on my pup for DD use in the city every day. Unfortuneately didn't take them off road much but they are a great all purpose tire. My suspension was very stiff so the stiffer tires didn't really change the ride much.

I just had a set of BFG AT's installed towards the end of January. They ride and drive great so far, great in the snow, but I can't comment on how they are in the dirt yet. They've yet to lose their virginity.

They look awesome though.

I like those Toyos.

along similar lines is the TrXus. not a full-on mudder, supposedly great in snow, lots of sipes for wet pavement, tighter lugs for decent hwy ride & beefy sidewalls.

I had Pirelli Scorpion ATs, BFG ATs and Pep Boys Dakota ATs, they are good tires, but not for any mud. I'd look hard at GY MTRs.

Don't swear off MTs, my BFG MTs are quiet, Pep Boys Dakota MTs are just slightly louder. Both have good wet pavement traction too. And my Pro Comp Mts (got them used real cheap) howl like a big dog, the mudtire howl most people think of. I take them off for vacation trips.

For local wheeling, I'd rather have a mudtire and not need it. Than have ATs and need a mudtire.
