Pete although I know that the noise is an issue for you you might as well go with the MT version of a tire. MTR's are going to be the lowest road noise but for a 265 at Costco you are still going to pay about 185 a tire.

I think that you will regret not going with the Mts of some version of tire. You gas milage will not change a noticable amount . The noise can always be dulled by a slight increase in radio noise. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />..thats just my 2 cents though
