Ok here goes. My 84 cj7 has 35 bfgs, I managed to fit them with only a 2 1/2 spring lift and a lot of triming. I wanted the tires for clearance but also to keep the center of gravity low because my previous cj5 had been lifted 5" and I rolled it on a remote pretty hardcore trail and suffered a compound fracture of the left tibia and it took 5 hours to reach a hospital in the back of my buddy,s 55 willy,s. Now I really like the look of the cj7, and I was wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of swapping a complete grand cherokee drivetrain with a 318 over to a cj7. The reason I ask is because of the price of gas which I personally don,t give a rat,s <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> about, people here are selling mid 90,s grand,s pretty cheap. I posted 2 pictures of the kind ot terrain we have lots of around here on page 24 of the pictures of my rig and those shot are the easy fun bits.
