88 red Montero with the Dakar Special Edition decals, 438,000 miles (As of 7/23/2012) some occational blue puffing but still strong and counting!!! I am going ppsshhh (turbo), Stay tuned =) ...

For my gen I KYB's. KYB also makes the much coveted gen II adjustable shocks which unfortunately are only available as a mitsubishi item and not as a KYB branded item.

Kevin They work quite well. A bit stiff, but not uncomfortable for highway driving. Excellent offroad. 80% of my driving is mountain roads - they work quite well for this. 15% of my driving is highway/city - they are a bit stiff here. 5% of my driving is offroad - they are wonderful.
