Can someone explain to me the clutch pedal adjustment... My recently rebuilt engine (with new clutch) doesn't seem to engage much at all... When I release the clutch pedal, it just starts to engage about 90% of the way off the floor... When I try shifting into second gear, the clutch just spins... If I turn the truck off, put it in 5th, and torque the crank pulley, the clutch slips... it doesn't grab. Does it sound like I need to adjust the clutch pedal up or down? I'm wondering if I installed the clutch incorrectly? Everything seemed straightforward... I got underneath and verified that when the clutch is pressed, the shift fork is moving without binding... I also bled the clutch lines for good measure. Anyone know how to adjust the clutch when it slips so bad?
