I wouldn't run 0w30 or anything thin like that, otherwise synth is just like dyno oil except made in a lab. The main benefit of synthetics is the resistance to viscosity breakdown and decreasing lubricity over time.

The people who had leaks after switching to synthetic probably had leaks before, but never noticed because they weren't speding $7.00 per quart for oil <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Kinda reminds me of some of my favorite customers. Like the guy that brought his Blazer back because the HVAC blower fan makes noise "ever since" I flushed the coolant <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I guess "my" big chunk of sandpaper got sucked up through the recirc inlet while I was working on that cabinet <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
