Same here, except my shoes are going on at 151K. I just ordered OEM front brake pads for $33 from this place. The Rear shoes I ordered were around $50. I wouldn't call that expensive by any stretch.

The only problem I ran into with 1sttoyotaparts was that they sent me a rear wheel cylinder rebuild kit instead of front brake pads-- something about the wrong part number linked from their website. But, Roger was awesome to deal with on the phone and he is sending me the pads right away and sending FedEx to pick up the cylinder rebuild kit on their dime.
