We'll do as soon as I get my tranny serviced. It's been down for a bit while I've been making a few upgrades.

I was installing a tranny cooler and modified the front tranny pan with a drain bolt, that way next time I service the tranny I won't need to drop the front pan.

I'll have to take a few pictures of the 3" Black PVC street elbow I epoxied into the airbox.

I got to see JoeÆs handiwork in-person yesterday eveningà

So far the installation looks amazing à
almost like it came with the snorkel from the factory.

Sorry, I've been really busy not installing my front ARB.

I'll get them up tonight.

Wow. That really does look nice.

So, that will for the '04 Rodeo, too? Sometimes I think the '04 is something like a 2.5 generation...

Yes, it should be the same.

But, there is some fab work that needs to be done.

Well, it took me long enough but here they are:

This is where the snorkel goes from the back of the front fender up to the airbox. You can see where i cut it and epoxied it back.

The next few are of the elbow I epoxied into the factory airbox. [Linked Image]

Nice! I like the way that looks on your rig. I just finished putting a safari on my trooper, took a bit of modifying of my car to make it work but function over form. How does the air get pulled in the top? any close-up pics? i like the work done inside the fender.

Thank you, I think it turned out nice.

The air gets pulled from under the top. More or less right off the roof.

Twintip_yeti, do you have any pictures of your safari snorkel on your 89 Trooper? I'd like to put a snorkel on my 86 Trooper and would like it to look like the one in this picture:

By the way, this Trooper (actually considered a Bighorn is really nice looking, an awesome off-roader without a doubt). The good thing is it's factory turbo diesel powered too, with the Isuzu 4JB1-T 2.8 to be exact. Sweet ride!
