sometimes when it gets bound up and pops. it just does that. nothing to worry about, but you'll be looking in the rear view mirror sure you just left your axle in the road. in wet pavement without traction (or snow/ice), it will act like a welded rear. you will fishtail in corners if you are not careful. just do not drive like a wild man, and you'll be okay.
