Funny that you say that.. Just went out a took some before pics of mine before the teardown (before even seeing your post) I also have a trail-gear SAS waiting to be put on <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Getting the Wheeling Fever
The diff armor may nedd dome minor massaging to fit right, a friend has this kit and it had to be heated a tweaked to get a decent fit to it......only issue I have see yet

Here is the axle I will be using. It's an 85. Was originally gonna be used for someone elses project but it's mine now. Just gotta put perches back on, shock mounts, etc.

We were gonna use this axle but it turned out to not be an 85, so it doesn't have the full gusseting. We'll just take the parts off this one that are missing off the 85.

Alot of people will tell you that they like the older axels better, that way you can add your own gusseting to it, on the top, where it dosen't effect ground clearance....and sure seems alot easier for you <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

The TG kit comes with upper axle gusset as well. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

The beginnings of a flatbed... Axle being rebuilt early this week and sas should start later half of this week!!
