Thanks again for the replies. I will try the weight on the cover before I assemble. Maybe that will cause the gasket to take its natural set so when I torque the gasket will have already compressed some. BTW, I am using FelPro gaskets. The RTV in the corners is a must. The rubber cam plug seems to be sealing at least against the head because it is always hard to remove.
