NO IT WON'T!!!

A larger master cylinder will DECREASE the amount of brake pressure your foot can apply to your wheels.

It will make the pedal feel more firm, but you will lose leverage/pressure/power. Read up here to get a better idea of what changing the master/caliper ratio will do:

Kinda sounds like the article advocates a larger bore MC and a dual diaphram booster. And yes pedal effort did noticably increase, but I got BIG FEET. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
