I'm about halfway fabbin up my light bar to put on my 85 trooper and I still haven't really found out where its going to bolt onto so I really can't finish the fab 100% Its just going to be a bar up on the roof to keep the lights out of the mud and from being splattered all over the road like my old ones if I get in another wreck. 200 bucks for lights is a bit much to have their reminants splattered all over the highway.
What would be the best way to go about mounting it to the roof. I was thinking about drilling and mounting it to the little gutter like things that run around the roof but I dont know how well thatd work. There aren't any bars or mounting systems made for my year so thats why I'm having to do everything myself.
Anyone have an opinion as to where I should mount the bar to?
