I have never messed with leaves before, my last car had coils so it was pretty easy to change those out.
My question is this. Has anyone ever installed these before and is there a write up on them somewhere. I have no clue on what to do. I am not even sure if I treat it as an add a leaf.

yes, all they are are add-a-leafs.

no writeup, the steps are really easy. Joe @ DOR provides instructions I believe and will always answer any questions you have about installation of his products.

1.) jack up truck, unweight springs, remove springs.
2.) use c-clamp to hold together spring pack, remove center pin, add leafs, add new center pin.
3.) reinstall

I installed them with great results. I elected not to reinstall the overload leaf (thick bottom leaf designed for carrying large loads) so my u-bolts would still fit. Change your leaf spring bushings out on the shackle end of the spring while you are there.

I also ended up getting new shackles and bushings as well.

well I am going to give it a try here within a few minutes, and probably sometime this week, I will get those 33x10.5x15's as well.

Same here. Rob has the basics listed... another thing is transfering the e-brake cable bracket over. I have been running these for a couple of years now and IMHO they are a great product. Provide some lift but still flex like mad since they are 3 thinner leaves instead of 1 thick leaf like the standard add-a-leaf. Here are a couple of pics:

OEM spring pack with clamps in place:

DOR Springs Upgradez installed and overload left out:

Good luck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Ok, I have a quick question. The picture below shows an extra leaf that I haven't see in any of the pictures on here, what is it and should I put it back on? [Linked Image]

well needless to say, it is now gone because I "cut" it off, I didn't think I needed it.

SO I have one more question, if you guys didn't put the overload spring back in, what did you use as your Center Pin, My center pin that came with the kit, the threads don't go down far enough for it to tie it all together tightly. What type of bolt and nut did you use?
