[Re: fasteddy] #703433 03/08/06 04:22 AM Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 10,238 Columbia, SC FrankR Web Wheeler Most of the newer small units now use a modified sine wave - not quite a true sinusoidal oscilliscope pattern, but not as blocky as the square wave - more of a clipped, flat-top sine wave. I haven't tried mine on a laptop yet, but it runs an electric drill, fridge, compressor, battery charger, etc. just fine.
