If you removed the timing cover without removing the head, the leak is VERY likely coming from the seal where the top of the timing cover meets the bottom of the front of your head. This is an EXTREMELY common leak point when the head is not removed, but the timing cover is. The headgasket is the seal at this point and when reinstalling the timing it's just not going seal properly unless replaced, or unless you're extremely lucky. You can try RTVing the crud out of it and it might slow the leak down.

I've lived with my leak for a number of years. Just too lazy to R&R the head at this point and other than making the front of the engine a little messy, it's not really hurting anything.
