Only the bolt just to the right of the relief valve gets RTV on the threads when it's installed. And I've had them leak from there when I've forgotten that. Check the FSM.

And yep, we use no RTV on that O-ring. It could work if one was very careful though. Good old chassis grease does the job for us....*EB
