The 12mm x 1.25 bolts are a finer pitch than you will find at most hardware stores. 12 x 1.25, 12 x 1.5, 12 x 1.75 are the usual pitches in that diameter. I think 1.5 is what you are going to find at most places. I called and visited a half a dozen (that's 6 for those who went to public school) places before I found the right bolts at a big home improvement store called Menards. -- Matt
