Well I bought a pair of heads off ebay that were listed for 93-97 and I knew better. I checked and in the picture i saw that they had the right amount of head studs, but couldn't see the exhaust manifold studs. Well it turns out that everything lines up right except the exhaust manifold. Mine has 8 studs and these have 7. So if I get new manifolds do you think they will work??

Or do you think I should test this guys rep and try to return????

Ebay Item # 8039890932

Ebay Heads

BTW 97 Rodeo 3.2l

Body Damage is Cool
YES THE MANIFOLDS WILL FIT FROM THE 97-2001 ACTUALLY BUT WHERE YOU WILL RUN INTO A PROB, IS THE DOWN PIPES ON EACH SIDE THEY ARE 3 BOLT AND AND I BELIEVE 12 MM BOLTS OR RATHER STUDS SO YOU WILL NEED THE DOWN PIPES FROM THE MANF TO THE REST OF THE EX SYS, AND THE 96-97 AND UP USE THE FUNNY SHAPED CATS , , ONE WAY OUT OF THEIS TYPE OF MESS IS , TAKE THE HEADS TO A MACHINE SHOP AND HAVE THEM DRILL AND TAP THE SPOT WHERE THERE ARE NO STUDS AND JUST USE THOSE HEADS ,LOOK CLOSE AT THE HEADS AND THEY HAVE THE BOSSES CAST WHERE THE LATER STUDS AND THE EARLY STUDS GO JERRY

Cool,

So either take them into a Machine Shop and get them drilled and tapped or run into exhaust pipe issues. Feel alittle better now.

Thanks Jerry!

Just checked the original heads and they have the places that could be drilled out to match the 93-95 heads, the 93-95 heads don't have the places that could match the 96-97 heads. There's not enough metal to drill into the heads.

So I guess it's going to be the new exhaust manifold and exhaust issue route.

I love it when nothing is easy!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />
