Getting the Wheeling Fever
From the research that I have done so far shows that the only difference is the exhaust valve is smaller on the C223T head than the C223N/A.Does anyone know why and what would happen if I run this head on my C223T?

OTHER THAN VLV SIZES ,AND THE HOT PLUGS IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER, YOU WON,T NOTICE ANY DIFF, AND IT WILL RUN JUST FINE, THE VLVS IN THE TURBO ARE OF A DIFF MATERIAL SO ARE THE HOT PLUGS , TO WITHSATND THE HIGHER THAN NORMAL EXHAUST TEMPS , SO DON,T GO FLOGGING THE DAYLITES OUT OF IT AND YOU WILL BE FINE , THE TURBO HEADS ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND , JERRY

Need a Spot
Amazingly, a couple of years ago I was able to purchase a NEW c223t head with valves, installed from the dealer for around 1600$. This is after the previous owner blew 800$ replacing the head gasket only to find that the expansion chamber inserts had micro fractures in them, which the mechanic missed, and the gasket mating surface was no good and the vehicle continued to overheat. So have that used head checked real close.

YEP , IF IT WAS DONE CORRECTLY , GET IN IT AND GO ,KEEP THE RPM DOWN TO ABOUT 3-3500 EVEN AFTER A SHORT BREAKIN,THE MAIN THING WITH A DSL FOR THE FIRST 1000 MILES OR SO DO NOT PUT A HEAVY LOAD ON THE ENG , A LITTLE HIGHER RPM INITIALLY WILL HELP KEEP EVERYTHING OILED UP REAL GOOD INTERNALLY, BASICALLY DON,T LUG THE ENG JERRY

Tdamigo, do you have any pictures of your Amigo or the work/rebuild of the diesel engine? A diesel Amigo has got to be cool. Thanks.

No pics at the moment might take some after the swap, which hopefully will be in a couple of weeks.
