Due to some liability concerns, Dan recommended we make our offtopic forums (Toyota and Mitsu, likely Kia too) visible only to registered and logged in users.
Anonymous users wouldn't even know the forums are there. Nor would the search engines, so OT garbage wouldn't get cached and indexed.
I am totally fine with this and fully support it. There would be no change for our regular readers, so long as they are logged in.
Interested in your feedback prior to doing this and announcing it.
