My valve cover gasket leaks oil all over spark plug 4 too. Recently I replaced the gasket and gooped tons of gasket sealer all over. Hopefull it won't leak this time. It is a common problem with these engines.



As a matter of fact I just had to change my plugs, wires and coil packs last week or the week before. I noticed that the #4 area was free of oil for the first time ever. The lst time I changed the plugs I bought a new valve cover gasket and I made sure to follow the directions and tighten the bolts in the pattern specafied and I even went as far as to tighten them with my torque wrench to the specified ft/lbs. I guess it worked. I didn't use any gasket sealer at all.
