Yes you can tee into either of those hoses. The other one goes to the injection pump diaphram. All the hoses attached to the intake manifold have the same pressures as the manifold under boost. Your lower arrow is pointing to the exhaust elbow that is after the turbo. You might want to install your Pyrometer there.
