Yes you can tee into either of those hoses. The other one goes to the injection pump diaphram. All the hoses attached to the intake manifold have the same pressures as the manifold under boost. Your lower arrow is pointing to the exhaust elbow that is after the turbo. You might want to install your Pyrometer there.

No that is the "air in" pipe..Is only warm to the touch.. You can barely see it go into the intake manifold.. The "exhaust out" pipe is below and obviously heat rusted brown, where is connects to the heat rusted brown output manifold. .. Its hot hot hot..
Looks like I will use IEQUUS 8500 gauges as they have a nice 1 1/2 pod for Water/Volt/Oil that I will mount below the stereo on the console and put the matching 2" boost gauge where the Altimiter is. I'll move the altimiter to the overhead I am building where the CB, 2 scanners and DVD for the kiddies will go..

This is how I did it: Took out the inclinometer, left the plate in front that showed the degrees and painted it flat black, widened it a bit so that the boost gauge fitted through and presto !! Tapped into the line running to the wastegate.
