First off check your lines. Some of those 24 year old lines will dry rot on you. So it could be a return line. Then in terms of the tank you want to check your skid plate for rust/decay and that whole thing. If its bad you might want to look at replacing it. Then in terms of the plastic ONIX gas tank i remember that if you went with a 20 gallon you might be able to find extended straps to work with your 15 gallon skid plate.
