I chose the word "lost" specifically because, although I'm not having a difficult time making it go up and down, understanding how it works, (wax on, wax off...) I couldn't figure out where is was supposed to be. On the off hand chance that I would over-torque/extend bend/break, whatever, I figured that I'd better get it right... I do occasionally strap my younguns in this thing...
