I used it and it took about 2hrs to download. You have to open each file and then save it. You can't just right click it. But well worth the money I think.

Same here. Loaded the FSM for my Camry. If you do a search on the subject somebody had software that you could click on each file and save them all at once. Otherwise, you have to click and save each file one at a time and there are a lot of them. But cheaper then the paper copy and the prints blow up real nice for us old fogeys.

I downloaded that manual. It was worth $10, but it's not complete and it's a royal pain to work with.
It's engine, transmission and wiring. The rest is on you to figure out. No info on brakes, suspension, etc. There is also a crash manual section, and lots of general T100 and Toyota tech stuff as well.
They took it apart by subject, so you don't download the wiring section as a whole, but in about 150 pieces. All of which you cannot put together unless you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat (the full version, not the free reader).
That said, I still found it worthwhile for the wiring diagrams and diagnostic information. The crash repair manual is superb. And the rest of the info stuff you can get in that time is also excellent.

Actually, I managed to get the entire manual for $10, brakes and all. It is very worth it, although I view it as a temporary solution until I buy the manuals outright (once the truck is paid off... very soon!).
It did take me around 2 hours on my DSL. I simply uninstalled Acrobat Reader so that the browser woudln't open every page but rather it would save to disk each time.

I'd like to add it to the FAQ. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Can't say on the others, but on the 97, it's about 400 seperate downloads. And like I said, that's only for the engine, transmission (not all there) and wiring diagrams. Nothing else was listed for this year.

This I got as a PM from eleet on 12/26/05. Here was the post: web page He mentioned using a program to download the files. Never tried it but maybe it gives someone a clue. Hi Gary, Sorry that it took so long to reply. Firefox is a web browser, available from www.mozilla.org. Its' popularity is somewhat due to the fact that Internet Explorer has not been updated in quite a long time. I think there's a way to make IE automatically save pdf's instead of opening them or asking you what to do, but I'm not sure what it is. So, I logged into techinfo.toyota using Firefox, and got to where I could display manual pages. After telling firefox to save all pdf's, it would ask me where to save them, instead of viewing them inside the browser. The catch is that a lot of the files are the same name, so I saved them in directories according to chapter. You probably want to get EPC, too, it's a pain to set up but it's wonderful to have once you get it going. If you can't find it let me know and I will share it on eMule. Best K.
