Well, it's green, but it's the exact same connector type as the knock sensor connector... the circular plug. Here's where it's at, a very bad pic, but you get the idea I think...

From the location of it with in the harness, it looks like it goes to the little modutator with the coolant lines under the intake. But that is on a 22re I don't even know if your 22r has one of those things.

he has a 22RE. all the pics i posted were from an 4Runner w/ a 22RE, except the very last one, which was of my engine.

my engine in the last pic? or are you talking about the other guys engine? i put it in last march and have put about 20k on it since then. i just got my exhaust put on. its really fun to drive now. im putting on my lce headers in the next few days. the reason i havent installed them yet is b/c i have to get a muffler shop to weld in a pipe to connect them to my cat since they test pipe they gave me is too short.

Yea, a good way to do it is take lots of pictures.. something that'll help you locate the mysterious green circular connector!

Toss on a crockpot, order a pizza, and leave the beer on ice until yer done.

Unwrap the fuel harness and get rid of those gawdawful splices, and solder 'em for the injectors.

Freezer tape and sharpie. Mark your stuff. Got a digi? Take pix. Save beverage box cardboard to punch bolts into, and mark which assembly they're for. Stick a piece of paper and a pencil under a wiper and write down your 'gottas' when you need to go back and look at something.

Make sure the new engine turned to TDC for stabbing the distributor back in.

Jump the engine out with the oil pan on it; you can remove it while it's in the air.

Brake fluid for rebleeding the clutch. May as well flush everything good while it's torn down. Remember to adjust.

Could go on, but you can post a new q. when you get started.

Oh, in that case then yes that is where I believe it goes. I think mine is blue. Is that a faded blue?

Actually, the connector looked just like green, a little faded... but the actual connector on the block itself was blue. I'm guessing the was the right wire seeing how I have no connectors that are blue in my harness, except the water temp one...
