Nice job! Given any thought to making up some of these to sell to board members? If you do, put me down for one!

I haven't given a lot of thought to making more of these. They take a bit of time to fabricate and I have to fit & refit them several times to make sure things are going together right. I appreciate the interest though!

Thanks for the complements!

I got several requests to make more of mine too. It was way too much work and complexity to try to mass produce the one I made with the tools I have.

I did make a few of the 3.4L version though (no I won't make more, but if you bug Bud-built, he's supposed to copy the one I sent him and make more!)

2 things:
1. what about oil for the compress to keep it from burning up? and what about air intake filter?

2. what kind of output does this have? Would it be comparable to say a Vivar 400 or greater?? Only thing I think of is what if you need air and the engine can't run? Say if you are using air tools off road for an emergency??

Overall a great idea!! Thanks for the post!!!

1. You run an inline oiler unless you have a York Piston compressor (not rotary)it has oil in the CC.

2.A York piston compressor puts out more then you will ever need. The rotarys put out less, if you can find a Sanden or York that have seven pistons and as long as you have a holding tank they will run air tools also. If the engine is not running to pump you have two choices
a. Carry a power tank for air tools (that is what I do)

b. use the old style air tools, you breath air while your hands turn the wrenches, which most people do that on the trail!!
