On my genI gasser, even with a 2" BL, there was LOTS of room to raise the tank up, and improve the clearance in the back. That same day there was an evacuation training in that area. They say it can blow anytime and a HUGE wave of melted glacier will follow an erruption and head on out to sea. So big that it might bee felt as far south as the Canary Islands.
