Getting the Wheeling Fever

I had a 1992 and a 1994 Tracker and both the owner's manuals say the same as my 2000; auto trans 4x4 should have the tranfer case in neutral, and the transmission in Park. Every 200 miles, start the vehicle and leave the Xfer case in neutral, and go through the gears. The books say don't exceed 55mph, but I usually tow about 65mph and have had no problems with any of the Trackers.
