Need a Spot
Rather than junk up the original thread I figured I'd start a new post. If the mods wish to move it I have no problems with that.

Anyhoo...I got the plugs change today and have a few questions. I skipped all the Carb & Choke cleaner steps since I didn't have any, so I wanted to know if that's what all the DO NOT UNPLUG the widgets was about. I'll need to get a new value cover gasket as the 4th plug was covered in oil (figures <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />). How do you get the PCV out? I refrained from using a screwdriver until someone tells me otherwise.

Thanks guys!

2002 Kia Sportage 4x4, stock.
Yes, I'm boring. I'm looking to change that.

The electrical connectors to the TPS and IAC are very prone to corrosion and contact resistance. That's why the statement to leave them plugged in is recommended.
