Completed the road trip successfully!

980 miles at highway speeds and 20 miles on 4WD rock trails at high elevation. I sure love the BFG All Terrain T/A 33" tires. They did a great job on the open highway at the high speeds generated by the 3.4 V6 (70 to 75 mph), tracking true. Had hard rain all the way home and they held the road very well with no tendency to hydroplane. Had excellent road control in heavy traffic, with no wandering around.

Got 14.8 mpg. Wished for over 15, but what the hey! Got rid of a twelve pack , and four baraqoa burritos. The drinking was not on the road, but the burritos were.

Speedometer runs 5 mph fast at 75. Not too bad with all the gear changes and bigger tires.

Ready for the trip to Moab. Now all I need to do is find a way to get out of work.
