Hrm... specs look decent, 5.3scfm at free flow would prob be around 3.5 at 90psi... not bad for a portable... but i've never heard of the manufacturure.. so...

well, it's only got a Max duty cycle of 20%, so I'm think'en humm, smoke n mirrors here. They get your attention with the duel compressor heads. I think this would be a better buy! Harbor FreightChucky MoMo

Hmmm... those compressor head castings sure do look familiar... so do the intake filters. The use of std. fittings is a bonus. The price is less than two of the MV-50s at current pricing, the only downside is the duty cycle. Not sure the MV50 is really more though, and I'm happy with my two. I say it would be worth the experiment. You first. Then report back!

see this http://www.allaircompressor.com/mini_air_compressor_next7.htmYep...agree that it looks familiar. Looks like the big brother of the MV50 that I have been hearing about.....but $102 is a very tempting price for that kind of performance. I saw something about a 22 minute DC...then on the pic of the box it says 40 minutes at 40 psi so can we assume the 22 minute rating is based on pumping the 80 or 90 psi rating? If so, then the 40 minute at 40 psi is more pertinent to what we wheelers need it for. For example, I would just need it to get me from 5 to 25 psi. I could probably run the compressor for over an hour based on the "mean psi". I mv50 is about the same isn't it?....40 min at 40 psi. I see this as a very comparable deal to the mv50....I bought 9 of the mv50's at 24.95 each back when Checkers was selling them out. Now, even at 49 or 59 the mv50 is still a good deal. But this "big brother" version is quite the deal. Made in China...dam wow! 37 for shipping from that Ebay site seems a bit pricey.

With only a 20% duty cycle it better work like it says. 20% duty cycle mean you can only use it for 12 minutes/hr. Since the MV50's are 100% duty cycle, I would save your money and buy 2 of them, set one up and keep the other as a trail spare, or set them both up if your alt. will put out enough juice. If you have them in an enclosed just run a cooling fan from Radioshak(about $25).
More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else. '90 X-cab 4.88's 33 BFG AT's, rr ARB, Headers, Ignition upgrade, cold air induction. '91 X-cab 5.29's 315's BFG MT's, rr ARB, custom bumper and flatbed

Is The MV50 the same Pep Boys special...the Master Flow compressor?
'Cause the Master Flow compressor has a "duty cycle" of 15 minutes On and 30 minutes Off.....not quite as good as a 20% duty cycle (20 minutes on and 40 minutes off).
Someone correct me if I've got my info wrong.....

don't know about it's duty cycle, but they were not the same deals (mv50 and mf50), unless you could convice someone at the store it was the same compressor , that's what smartguy was able to do
