Need a Spot
Anybody know if I can just drop in the V6 radiator in my 89 4 cyl auto trooper without modifications? Does my 4 cyl shroud make up to the V6 radiator? The trooper has AC and stock fan. It appears as if the radiator support is the same for both V6 and 4? Thanks

Body Damage is Cool
I pulled an almost-new radiator out of a scrapper '89 2.6 LS and it dropped right into my '89 'stroker' V6 Troop.

Since your 2.6 is bolted up to an automatic, you'd want to make sure the V6 radiator has the built-in auto tranny cooler at the bottom.

I have one of each, a 2.6 and a 2.8, both '89. The 2.8 has a/c, the 2.6 does not. I've switched the radiators back and forth (don't ask) to the point where I'm not sure now which was original in which vehicle. You should have no problem. As Ed said, check for cooling if you have an automatic.
