Sorry to make a new post for this, but the great original (thanks Marucci!) is in the archives and I wasn't sure it would get much play!

here it is for reference

As my list of upgrades/plans for the homecoming truck-a-thon continues to grow, I thought about working on the intake/exhaust upgrades many have implemented. Getting into the entire intake setup seems a little overkill/daunting, but simply swapping in the round TB Assembly seems more straight forward. A few questions though.

Is swapping in the round TB assembly of the 93+ intake with the older pre-93 intake worth the trouble (i.e. butt dyno results vs. time/money spent)?

What issues does this simpler upgrade hold in common with the entire intake swap (temp sensor relocation, throttle cable mount, etc)?

lastly.. what is a good source for this relatively obscure part? Anyone have a stash of these laying around or know where we could order such a thing with out explaining isuzu engine design with Earl on the other side of the county and only to risk getting the wrong part anyway?

Thanks, as always, for any info you can share!!
