You can take down the pan and change the filter. It's pretty easy. The only thing I would recommend would be that you MUST use the correct Tranny Fluid. I think that his tranny may use an oil you can ONLY get from Toyota. Look it up in your Owners Manual to make sure. Or it might even say what it uses on his Tranny Fluid dip stick. Don't take it to some local shop to do it because they probably will use Dextron III. I'll post more on this tomorrow after I look this up on my All Data program at work.
