Newer Toyotas use a Highly Friction Modified ATF. Toyota's OEM brandname is T-IV. Generic spec is JWS3309, Mobil makes one [3309] that is compatible. My Volvo AWD also uses the 3309 type HFM ATF [Aisin tranny.]

Mobil 1 syn ATF is NOT comaptible with the HFM T-IV, Mobil will tell you that straight up.

HFM and Dexron III fluids are mutually exclusive; I do not care what scAmsoil says about their 'universal' ATF.

T100s use good ol' Dexron III / Mobil 1 works great. God Bless Toyota for putting a drain plug in the T100 tranny pan. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
